The IWLT Hydrating Treatment Toner helps to calm sensitive skin, and acts as a BOOSTER. The water-binding ingredients(humectants) such as Glyceryl Glucoside and hyaluronic acid (appears as Sodium Hyaluronate on IWLT toner ingredient list) not only hydrate skin but also function as a delivery system for other ingredients. Hyaluronic acid expands the volume in the outer layer of skin.

Just like how a sponge expands after becoming wet, with more volume, more ingredients can be absorbed. By as much as 5-10 times! Glyceryl Glucoside particle is 30,000 times smaller than Hyaluronic Acid, which can absorb to your skin very quickly and prevent any loss of moisture after washing your face. This is why saturating the skin first with toner helps your skin absorb more moisturiser.
