Q1. What is the UV protection?
A1. All of our sunglasses have a 99.9% UV protection rate.
Q2. What is the material of this sunglasses?
A2. The frame consists of two components. The front eye part is compressed acetate. The temple part is a common acetate. It uses materials to make the front as light as possible. Temple part is made only from regular acetate because this material is a good choice for overall sunglasses frame balance. Lenses are made of nylon. Acetate (frames that are made with cellulose, which is a natural material found in plants) and are a greener alternative to conventional plastics)!
Q3. Does it comes with a scratch-resistant coating?
A3. The sunglass has went through coating process on both the lens and the frame during the final process. However, this is not permanent as daily wear and tear is still possible.
Q4. How is the packaging like and what is the marterial of the pouch and lens wipe?
A4. Every sunglasses comes with 1 Ziplock Pack, 1 Pouch, 1 Lens Wipe & 1 Warranty Card. The pouch is made of artificial leather and the lens wipe is made of microfibre.
Q5. How does the warranty card works?
A5. The warranty card number has one number for each product. This proves that the product is genuine. In the case of defects in the product, it is valid for an exchange. However, this applies only to unused products and a valid warranty card. Do take note that the warranty card does not cover scratched lenses that is due to own carelessness.
Q6. What is considered as a defect?
A6. It can be replaced in the event of fatal defects or damage to the frame or lens. However, any minor scratches or distortions that can be modified by the fitting ofthe product shown due to the nature of the material are excluded from the exchange/repair.
Q7. How do I ensure the validity for an exchange/repair should there be any defects found?
A7. Kindly ensure that you check your product within 7 calendar days after receiving the item to ensure its validity for an exchange/repair as per our policy. However, if it’s after 7 calendar days or damage is caused by customer’s own negligence, it will be charged at your own expense.
Q8. How long does the repair takes?
A8. It takes about 2 weeks.
Q9. How much is the delivery fee?
A9. In the case of replacement due to product defects, Public Beacon will pay for the round trip cost. However, if it’s due to customer's negligence, fee will be borne by customer.
